2 tbsp miso (white)
2 tbsp mirin
1 tsp sesame oil
1 whole garlic
1 lemon
1 bunch spring onion (optional garnish)
Chicken wings or butterflied chicken
Pre-heat oven 180c
Mix miso, mirin and sesame oil together to make marinade.
Slice garlic clove, lemon and spring onions in half.
Place the garlic, lemon and spring onion in the base of a baking pan, this will act as a trivet for the chicken.
Paint the chicken with marinade, and place on top of garlic, lemon, onion base over all the base. Tucking in the end of the wings underneath so they don’t burn.
Cook for 30-45 minutes. Drizzle some oil on top if chicken isn’t crisping up.
