Ingredients
- 1 carrot grated
- 1 zucchini grated
- 1 lot/tube of sausage meat (500g, pork is best)
- 3 sheets of puff pastry
- 2 tsp fennel seeds (or 3 if you're mad)
- sesame or poppy seed
- 1 egg, whisked
- Salt and pepper
- Half bunch of parsley finely chopped
Method
- Preheat oven to 200c
- Pull out puff pastry to defrost
- Mix together in a bowl: meat, carrot, zucchini, fennel seeds
- Add at least 3 cracks of salt and pepper, each
- Divide each sheet of puff pastry in half you should have 6 lengths
- Place a long line of meat mixture length ways on each piece of pastry
- Roll each piece and place, with the seam on the bottom, on a baking tray lined with paper
- Paint with egg and sprinkle with seeds
- Cook for 30-ish minutes until golden, rotate them if needed
