Tabouli

Ingredients

  • 1 cup bulgar
  • 1/2 red onion
  • Large bunch of parsley
  • Half bunch of mint
  • 6 cherry tomatos
  • 1/2 juice of 1 lemon

Method

  1. Finely dice onion and leave to soak in water for at least 30 minutes (replace the water occasionally if longer)
  2. Cook bulgar 30 minutes in 3 cups of simmering water, stir to prevent sticking to the bottom.
  3. Chop up parsley, mint and tomato’s to the same size as onions.
  4. Strain onions.
  5. Mix all ingredients together.
  6. Dress with lemon and salt.
