Whisky Sour

Ingredients

  • 60ml whisky
  • 30ml lemon juice
  • 30ml sugar syrup
  • 1/2 egg white
  • bitters
  • ice
  • red wine

Method

  1. Combine all ingredients in a shaker (except ice + wine)
  2. Shake it good
  3. Add ice
  4. Shake again
  5. Pour into a glass
  6. Gently pour red wine over the back of a spoon

Notes

  • Add a big ice cube to the glass for extra fancy
  • Don't use a pinot, shiraz or cab sav works best
  • 30ml is 1 fl/oz, also "1 shot" if using a bartender measure
